As time goes on, small deposits of dry ink can accumulate within the printhead of your printer.
Ink sludge can build up little by little until eventually they begin to clog up your printer's ink jets and affect your document's print quality, causing streaks or blotchy printing.
To address this issue, every so often it's a good idea to install a "Cleaning Cartridge" in between regular ink cartridge changes to help flush out any hardened ink deposits or ink sludge.
Cleaning cartridges contain a solution that helps break down clogs within your printhead and restore your print quality to it's original state.

ASAP Inkjets "Clog Buster" Cleaning Solution
Can't find your cleaning cartridge, or need a more intensive cleaner?
For the more intensive printhead cleaning task you may want to consider a "Clog Buster" kit.
The "Clog Buster" cleaning solution is similar to the solution you might find inside a cleaning cartridge, but it is actually MORE effective for excessive clogging problems. But not only is the cleaning solution more effective than standard cleaning cartridges, it can also give you more flexibility in terms of your uses.
Many times you may have difficulty finding a specific cleaning cartridge for your particular model of printer. Many of the recently released printers do not yet have cleaning cartridges available for them yet.
With a Clog Buster kit, you can not only apply cleaning solution directly to the printhead for those extra stubborn clogging issues, but it is also possible for you to create your own cleaning cartridges by simply filling an empty ink cartridge with the Clog Buster solution.
(Note: Some empty cartridges with IC chips may not function properly when re-installed if a "chip re-setter" is not used. This will depend on your particular printer model. In these cases you would need to apply Clog Buster directly to the printhead.)
